Before accepting the Creed, from the morning before the ritual, it is necessary to fast, complete ablution, recite the OM mantra or the Ishta-Devata seed mantra (OM DRAM DATTATREYAYA NAMAHA).

For the ceremony, you need to dress a clean white clothes (white Punjabi).

On the second day, the monk will give you the preliminary basic practices.
